2025 Lend-A-Hand Grant Awards

AIM Services, Inc.

AIM Services will use the funds received from the Lend-A-Hand grant to support individuals participating in the Respite Program.

ASCEND Mental Wellness

Funding will allow East Side Center to continue to operate the Breakfast/Lunch program without having to increate the cost in 2026.

Battenkill Community Services, Inc.

Grant funds will be used to support the "Art with Heart" program, which encourages incidividuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build meaningful connections through art.

Belmont Child Care Association, Inc.

The grant award will be used to fund BCCA's early childhood education program at Faith's House in Saratoga Springs during the Summer Race meet at Saratoga Racecourse.

The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund

The grant award will be used to support Ben's Hygiene Kit Program.

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks

Grant funds will purchase essential tools that enhance program experience and outcomes, including kitchen and pantry supplies, educational games, and craft supplies.

Bikeatoga

The grant award will be used to support the Workshop Upgrade, which includes the purchase of new and replacement tools, additional work stations, storage units for parts, and donated bikes. 

Camp Abilities Saratoga

Funds will go toward a portion of the adapted sports equipment for new sports being added to the program or to replace aging equipment.

CAPTAIN Community Human Services

Lend-A-Hand grant funds will be used to support the Getting Ahead Program, which includes a series of classes designed to help participants understand their resources and chart a course for their future.

Children's Museum at Saratoga

This grant will support the purchase of an interactive projection unit designed to teach children basic mathematics concepts through fun and active interaction.

Comfort Food Community

Grant funds will be used to purchase food products to support Farm 2 Library program, which includes two pantries and 27 other community-run pantries, across four counties.

Community Hospice Foundation

Grant funds will be used to support the Hospice Wish Fund, which provides meaningful, personalized support. Each wish eases hardship and brings comfort during life's final chapter.

Corinth Aims to Reach Everyone (CARE) Inc.

The grant award will be used to purchase 6.5 (of 30) weeks of nutritious, kid-friendly meals and snacks to support 48 food-insecure elementary students from low-income families.

Franklin Community Center

Grant funds will be used to purchase essential curriculum supplies that make Project Lift's after-school lessons engaging, interactive, and impactful.

 

Glens Falls Independent Living Center, Inc. DBA Southern Adirondack Independent Living

The grant award will be used to plan, film, and produce an accessible cooking class series designed specifically for individuals with disabilities.

Glens Falls Senior Center

Grant funds will be used to enhance our "Gift to Goldens" program. This vital initiative provides a holiday experience for seniors who may otherwise be alone.

High Peaks Hospice

Grant funds will be used to offset the rising cost of medical supplies used for hospice patients.

Lake George Region Women for WIn, Inc.

A grant award will be solely be utilized to purchase personal care items for our "Hygiene Kits for Kids" project, which primarily serves elementary school children in low-income families in our local communities.

Operation Adopt-a-Soldier Inc.

Funds will be used to pay for postage to send care packages to our active duty soldiers in foriegn lands.

Pitney Meadows Community Farm

Funds will support its food soveriegnty program.

        

Queensbury Senior Citizens, Inc.

The grant award will be used to help reduce the cost of day trips for seniors in 2026.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga County

Grant funding will be used to help 60 homeowners in need live in safer and healthier homes by purchasing and delivering Home Safety Kits.

Saratoga Bridges

The grant award will be used to provide woodworking classes for the individuals supported at Creative Endeavors Arts Center.

Saratoga Center for the Family

Grant funds would help up to nine children/teens and their families by covering the cost of therapy for a period of time.

Saratoga Children's Literacy League

Funds will be used to renovate a school bus from a regional school district into a mobile book bus.

Saratoga County Children's Committee

The grant award will be used to fund our largest program, the Empty Stocking Project.

Saratoga Pride

The grant funds will be used to pay for permits required by the City of Saratoga Springs, park rental, the rental of audio equipment, insurance, and supplies.

Saratoga Sponsor-A-Scholar

Grant funds will be used to help purchase new computers for high school students, including students going to college.

Senior Citizens of Saratoga Springs, Inc.

Funding will offset chartered bus costs for our expanded 2026 bus trip program.

Servants of the Word, DBA The Open Door

Funds will go toward direct food costs for Community Kitchen, Food Pantry, and Backpack program for school students.

Shelters of Saratoga

The grant award will be used to purchase food needed to feed impoverished and/or homeless individuals with little-to-no access to food resources.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc.

The funds will be used to purchase lumber, hardware, mattresses, and bedding for the building and delivery of beds to children aged 3-17 in Saratoga and Washington counties.

The First Baptist Church of Ballston Spa's Summer Lunch Program

Grant funds will be used to purchase food items and necessary supplies to assemble and distribute lunches.

The Wesley Community

Funding from ATCCF will be utilized to purchase four PT/INR Monitoring Machines.

Tri-County Literacy Center

These funds will be used to acquire materials for peer mentoring, student needs assesments, new tutor training, and invidividualized tutor session supplies such as notebooks, study guides and workbooks.

Warren Washington County Homeless Youth Coalition DBA Wait House

Funds will support youth discharging from WAIT House's shelter programs into permanent housing, covering moving costs and helping youth purchase needed items, including household supplies and basic furnishings.

Wellspring

Grant funds will be used for emergency assistance by supporting the replacement of essential items such as medication or personal documentation such as birth certificates that have costs associated with the replacement.
