Each year, ATCCF awards Lend-A-Hand Grants to local nonprofit organizations within Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties. Since the inception of our Autumn of Giving Match Campaign in 2013, the Lend-A-Hand Grants have provided more than 235 grants, totaling nearly $462,000 to our local nonprofits. Grant awards have supported programs in such diverse areas as veterans outreach, STEM education, summer lunch programs, wildlife education, homelessness prevention, youth services, the arts, and more. You can learn about past Lend-A-Hand Grant recipients here.
The 2021 Lend-A-Hand Grant request application period is now open through August 31, 2021. Typical grant requests approved range from $1,000 – $2,000.

The Adirondack Trust Company Community Fund also offers local nonprofit organizations opportunities to broaden their giving options. A patron or sponsor who wishes to give to a specific organization can establish a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) and recommend that their favorite charity receive a grant on an annual basis.
Some nonprofits that may lack the resources to establish an endowment fund can benefit from the Adirondack Trust Company Donor Advised Funds. Donors who wish to provide support for their chosen organization for years to come can utilize a DAF to obtain professional management and a tax advantaged vehicle.
The General Fund of the Adirondack Trust Company Community Fund can benefit multiple local nonprofits through its annual gifting program. The Advisory Committee’s guidance will benefit those 501(c)(3) organizations that demonstrate integrity and value to the local region. The General Fund allows individuals to make a tax deductible contribution of any amount at any time.
